The BLACK // STRAP is a woven band with a polished stainless steel clasp — a small piece of hardware that changes how the whole thing reads on your wrist. Matte black weave, one bright line of steel, our mark and nothing else.
The weave is soft, breathable and holds its shape, so it stays comfortable through a session, a shower, a night's sleep and a meeting the next morning. Swapping it in takes about ten seconds on the Fast Link slider.

Will it fit my WHOOP?
WHOOP 5.0 — yes. WHOOP MG — yes, with one caveat: the MG's ECG and Heart Screener features need the conductive bracket built into WHOOP's own MG bands. Wear this one day to day, swap back for a reading.
WHOOP 4.0, 3.0 or earlier — no. The 5.0 generation moved to the Fast Link slider and the older bands aren't interchangeable.

Does this fit my WHOOP?
It fits the WHOOP 5.0 and the WHOOP MG, both of which use the Fast Link slider. It does not fit the WHOOP 4.0 or older — that generation used a different attachment and the two are not interchangeable.
I have an MG. Will I lose the ECG feature?
Yes, while you're wearing this band. The MG's ECG and Heart Screener need the conductive bracket built into WHOOP's own MG bands. Most MG owners keep the original in a drawer for readings and wear this one the rest of the time — a swap takes ten seconds.
Why is it cheaper than WHOOP's own bands?
Because we sell one thing and don't run a subscription business around it. €35,00 against €49 for the SuperKnit and €89 for the Luxe isn't a quality gap — it's a much shorter route from factory to your wrist.
How is it different from a €9 band on a marketplace?
The clasp, mostly. Cheap bands use moulded plastic hardware that scratches within a week. Beyond that: it ships from the Netherlands in 1–2 days instead of five weeks, it comes in a real box, and there's a named company with a 30-day return policy behind it.
Can I wear it in the shower or the pool?
Yes. The weave dries quickly and the steel doesn't corrode. Rinse under cold water after salt water or heavy sweat and let it air dry — that's the whole maintenance routine.
Will it fit my wrist?
It's adjustable across the normal adult range. If it doesn't sit right, send it back within 30 days and we'll refund it — you don't need a reason.
How fast does it ship?
Orders placed before 16:00 on a working day leave the same day. Netherlands and Belgium: 1–2 working days. Rest of the EU: 2–4. Tracking arrives by email the moment the label is printed.
What if I don't like it?
Return it within 30 days for a full refund, worn or unworn. Email support@zone2studios.com and you'll get a return label back, usually the same day.
